Student Ambassadors are a key group of enthusiastic student members that help the Society achieve its goal of supporting and promoting the molecular biosciences. They are a point of contact for the students at their institutions, encourage membership amongst their peers, serve as a conduit for the transfer of ideas between student members and the Society, and also help to organize local events such as student receptions.
In return for this we provide any literature and support that is needed to promote membership, as well as providing online resources and sending a twice yearly pack of Society material for display at the institution or on a departmental notice board. Student Ambassadors are invited to attend the annual ambassador day where they can network with fellow Student and Local Ambassadors.
Student Ambassadors will develop leadership and collaboration skills and gain the opportunity to grow their network both within their institution and regionally. Applications to become a Student Ambassador are now being accepted.
